How much commission do I get?
You start at 10% and grow to 15% (from 10 customers) and 20% (from 25 customers). The percentage applies to the qualifying invoice value of all your referred customers, excluding domain names and VAT.
Is the commission one-time or recurring?
Recurring. You earn on every paid invoice from your referred customer, every year again, as long as that customer stays with Webosa.
Do I need to be a customer to become a partner?
No, that’s not required. But it helps to have tried our hosting yourself, so you can talk about it convincingly.
When do I get paid?
Payout happens quarterly (and on request), once your outstanding commission is at least € 50.
What is the difference with the Peak package?
The difference is who does the management. As a partner your client becomes a Webosa client: we handle the configuration, resolve incidents and are the point of contact, while you only build and maintain the website. With Peak you host your clients’ sites yourself: you invoice, you are the point of contact and you set up PHP, email and domains, while Webosa runs the servers, updates and backups in the background.
When is Peak better than becoming a partner?
As soon as hosting becomes part of your own service. Does your client call you when the site is down, do you want to decide what hosting costs, or would you rather no other name appeared on the invoice? Then you are ready for Peak. Financially you are ahead quickly: partner commission on a Start package yields € 3.90 to € 7.80 per client per year, while with Peak you host up to fifty websites for € 185 per year and decide yourself what you charge your clients.
Can I be a partner and host myself?
Yes. Many agencies host their own clients on a Peak package and also refer clients they would rather not manage themselves.
And what if I outgrow Peak?
Then your own managed server is the next step. You get full control over your own stack and root access, while we keep the server running and monitor it 24/7. So you manage your own software, not the server itself. If you manage more than fifty websites, or hit the 30 GB of storage sooner, get in touch and we will work it out together.
Where do I track my referrals?
In the partner dashboard within your Customer Panel you’ll see your referrals, accrued commission and payouts.
